I've been following u/Lo_and_beehold on Twitter for a while, and knew she wrote awesome scripts. I've also been looking to expand my repertoire a little and do something different to my usual fare whilst still staying 'on brand' as it were. This was just the PERFECT script! I made a few changes to the original. Namely making it more British and theoretically time-shifting it back to the 1960s (because if your going to do British Organized Crime, when else would you set it!) - but kept it vague enough for those who aren't into historical things. It reminded me a lot of the true story of Norma Wallace and one of her partners who worked for Al Capone's gang. Dangerous, passionate, explosive. Premise: Two friends who have harbored feelings for each for a long time have finally done something about it. There's a slight hitch: the speaker is part of something dangerous, and doesn't want the listener to get caught up in his lifestyle. They only have tonight. They intend to make it memorable.
